The SHADE Foundation is working to create sun-safety awareness through the education of children and the community. Developing responsible attitudes toward the sun and its harmful rays at an early age will help eradicate melanoma. Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States with more than one million new cases diagnosed each year.
